Shouldn’t Democrats be rooting for Brownback? McCain, Giuliani, probably even Romney, they all have a legitimate shot against the presumptive nominee for Dems, Hillary Clinton, or other (fingers crossed) possible nominees. I personally hope the Republican nominee is Brownback or Hunter or Tancredo or some other bigot. The Democratic candidate in the general election already has an inherent advantage, but considering the last several elections and the track record of voting machines (I live in Ohio, I’ve seen this crap close up), we need a resounding victory to gurantee it won’t be stolen. A candidate with limited appeal like Brownback would be much easier to beat than one with broad appeal and a more moderate record like McCain. Democrats won’t nominate Dennis Kucinich (as much as I love him) because he appeals to a limited segment (the best segment of American society, but a small one).
So my suggestion is to save the attacks on Brownback (or other fanatics and bigots) until after they’re nominated and focus on bringing down McCain.

Brendan,
That’s not that bad an idea, but as much as I HATE Sam Brownback, I’d rather see his campaign end ASAP…I just can’t stomach the thought of him even being the Republican nominee..But, if he were to get the nomination, there would be a WEALTH of clips, sound bites, etc. that would show just how awful & backwards a person Sam Brownback is…
