Evangelicalism and Catholacism are mutually exclusive, two disparate varieties of Christianity. It would be more accurate to refer to "Christians who hold to traditional conservative values." This allows for evanglical Christians and Catholics, who differ on certain points, to stand together on other major moral positions and not be painted with the brush of Catholic doctrine. A pet peeve of mine is the misuse and hijacking of language. It would be nice if folks who like to comment on things understood the language they use.
