Brownback: “I generally don’t read hit pieces.”
Ouch. Rolling Stone isn’t generally known for havng a conservative slant and you have to wonder if Brownback really expected a puff piece when he agreed to talk with Sharlet.
Perhaps this is a case where Senator Brownback’s need for an increased name recognition trumped all other considerations.
